High School Hackathon for Students in the Bay Area

Michael Matias is currently organizing a high school Hackathon (hackgeny.com) that will take place in Silicon Valley on January 24-25. They are bringing together 400 of the most talented and ambitious high schoolers across the country to compete in the event,  reaching out in the hopes that you can help spread the word around your community.
The goal of Hacking Generation Y is to showcase the brilliant talent of high school students and the amazing things they can do. Organizers are very excited about bringing together these amazing youth and building awesome products, hoping you can have several students from your school attend as well 🙂
You’re also invited to take part in the event as a mentor (helping the teams) or judge (evaluating the products at the end). They actually offer travel reimbursements, and will be able to provide some financial assistance for students to come to San Francisco!
Please let Michael know if this is something that interests you and he’ll be happy to send more information @ Michael Matias [michael@michaelmatias.com].
